The Campaign for real Ale voted Skullsplitter to be
the Champion Barley Wine 2007. This is the latest in a long list of awards
this beer has rightfully received. With its strong almost vinous nose and a rich fruity taste this is a sipping beer to enjoy on a cold winters night. For the whisky fans out there this beer also has the peaty aroma associated with the malt whisky from this part of the world.
