 This fantastic beer was original brewed in 1968 by the Dorset brewery Eldridge Pope.  The brewery however stopped brewing this once a year vintage ale in 1999 and it looked destined to be another lost classic until John O'Hanlon recommenced its brewing in 2003.

This wonderful Barley wine is rich and dark and gets better with age. The beer will easily keep for over 10 years if stored correctly, much like fine wines or spirits.
